Volleyball is about relationships which are forged during competition. We play a simple game to keep the ball off the floor and send it over the net. Yet it takes teamwork to do this well, and a family to remember the journey.

A team's strength lies in our belief in one another. Though we are different, we share a cause. While we may not be perfect, we strive to achieve it. We are accountable for our actions, because every act has a consequence. If we inadvertently err, a simple "my bad" forgives.

So when the nets come down and the balls packed away, we smile with no regret in our hearts. We have sacrificed and shared ourselves, and are better individuals for doing so. Volleyball may be a simple game, but only family plays it right.
